CCA Berlin is pleased to launch the publication Displayed Words, bringing together texts from all past editions featuring twenty-one authors. This publication celebrates the diverse voices and perspectives presented as part of the project Displayed Words, which took place from the end of 2022 to the beginning of 2025 at three public locations across the city. 

To mark the occasion, we invite you to an open mic poetry reading at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, where the project’s themes of identity, language, and urban memory will be activated through live performances. For the open mic, we invite poets, artists, or writers to share their own words. 

On the occasion of the book launch on 25 Feb 2025, we invite poets, artists, or writers to read their work at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (Potsdamer Straße).

Please send us the work(s) you would like to read by 15 Feb 2025 to info ​@​ cca.berlin. The CCA team will make a final selection of five entries from received portfolios, which will be announced on 19 February. The invited artist will have the opportunity to present their work(s) for 10–15 min in the evening of the book launch. There will be an artist fee of 50 €, public transport within Berlin is covered.

The event is open to public for free. Texts can be submitted in English or German or in any other language.
