On 15 April 2023 at 4 pm, the closing event of the literature project Displayed Words - Displaced will take place at Klosterruine Berlin.

Following an introduction by curator Fabian Schöneich, a reading will take place with poets Don Mee Choi, Athena Farrokhzad, Quinn Latimer, and Rike Scheffler. Don Mee Choi will read from her work "DMZ Colony", which has just been published in German by Spector Books, and Athena Farrokhzad from her forthcoming work "Donkey Days". Displayed Words - Displaced will end on April 16 at Klosterruine, while the website displayedwords.org will remain online.

Displayed Words – Displaced is an experimentation in thinking with language, text, and poetics through digital formats, "exhibited" on an LED display at Klosterruine in Berlin-Mitte and online. It was realized by CCA Berlin in collaboration with Klosterruine Berlin and the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program and presented poems, texts, and text fragments by Don Mee Choi, Athena Farrokhzad, Volha Hapeyeva, Quinn Latimer, Rike Scheffler, Yasmine Seale, and Hajra Waheed from December 2022 to April 2023.

Supported by Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa, project funds from Draussenstadt and the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program.
