Earthquake Relief Market
CCA Berlin – Center for Contemporary Arts and TDD – a nomadic dinner club founded by Gülsüm Güler and Inci Güler – are jointly organizing an earthquake relief market to support affected communities in the aftermath of the devastating February 6 earthquake that shook Turkey, Kurdistan, and Syria.
The market will take place at CCA Berlin on April 30 from 2-6pm, and will feature donated artworks from Berlin-based artists priced up to €500. The first half of the proceeds will be directly transferred to individuals in the town of Elbistan, Maraş. The second half of the proceeds will be split among Heyva Sor (Kurdish Red Crescent) and Basmeh & Zeitooneh, a non-profit organization providing emergency relief to Syrian refugees in Gaziantep, Antakya, and Maraş. Payments can be made in cash or as a donation directly to the respective aid organizations.
We are grateful for the generous culinary support from Zeit für Brot and ZURIGA.
